080 Barcelona Fashion

 

   He tenido la oportunidad de asistir a algunas ediciones de la fashion week de Barcelona y la verdad que me ha encantado.




  Es verdad que la semana de la moda de Barcelona no es lo mismo que la de New York, es decir a nivel de audiencia mundial, pero no tiene mucho que envidiar. Esta semana de la moda está dedicada a diseñadores de la ciudad condal y no famosos como los de otras, pero que tienen mucho potencial y que se van haciendo hueco en el mundo de la moda.

  La última edición de la 080, la 13ª edición, fue este Enero en el reciento del Mercat del Born, un espacio bastante importante en la ciudad. Personalmente no me gustó mucho el lugar para la pasarela, no sé, quizás sean manías mías o el comparar el lugar con el de la anterior edición, la 12ª, en el edificio DHUB. Pero aún así me gustó bastante la organización y los desfiles.

Esta última sólo pude asistir a los desfiles de TCN, Selm de Somavilla, Krizia Robustella, Natalie Capell, Brain & Beast, Celia Vela, Mariam Ponsa, Georgina Vendrell, Albéniz, Zazo & Brull, Naulover, Slangezer, Punto Blanco, Martinez Lierah, Manuel Cruzcastillo y Aldomartins. No tengo fotos de todos los desfiles pero intentaré hacer un  post con las que tenga.

Haré unos post sobre este tema porque en este mes es la nueva edición y es lo que tengo en mente ahora mismo. He pensado en escribir sobre sobre mi experiencia este verano en la 080 y pensé que como buena base para ello debía escribir sobre la edición anterior. Espero tener el post listo y publicarlo este lunes 16.


I've had the opportunity to attend to the fashion week in Barcelona and I really loved it.

  It is true that the fashion week in Barcelona is not the same as that of New York, I mean the level of  the worldwide audience, but it has nothing to envy. This fashion week is dedicated to designers of Barcelona and not famous as the other, but have much potential to be doing well in the fashion world.

  The latest edition of the 080, the 13th edition, was this January at the Mercat del Born, a very important space in the city. Personally I do not liked to much the place for the catwalk, I don't know, maybe is me or because I compare the place with the previous edition, the 12th, in the DHUB building. But I still really liked the organization and parades.

This last edition I could attend to some shows: TCN, Selm of Somavilla, Krizia Robustella, Natalie Capell, Brain & Beast, Celia Vela, Mariam Ponsa, Georgina Vendrell, Albéniz, Zazo & Brull, Naulover, Slangezer, Punto Blanco, Martinez Lierah, Manuel Cruzcastillo and Aldomartins. I don't have photos of all the shows but I'll try to make a post with the ones I have.

I'll do a post on this subject because this mounth is the new edition and it's what I have in mind right now. I've thought about writing about my experience this summer in the 080 and thought it will be a good idea to write about the previous edition. I hope to have ready and publish the post on Monday 16.
